Just presented  a 90′ –  webinar on ‘Strategies for Improving Mental Health Services for At – Risk Students’ to a national audience via the Associate of Educators’ website.

The session addressed factors related to the interaction of developmental issues, family – cultural dynamics, and school adjustment problems.  Strategies for designing school / community programming were emphasized, including personnel allocation and building – based interventions.

I highlighted the critical need for national initiatives to encourage and fund mental health services, especially in impoverished communities with chronic social – economic dysfunction.

A CD of this session is available at www.associationofeducators.org. /http://www.lorman.com/images/faculty/badge-200.png
