My Connecticut Post article on School Reform

The Connecticut Post has published my school reform article on May 25, 2012 in the Opinion section; you can read it here.

The article offers an overview of recommendations for closing Connecticut’s  chronic achievement gap problem.  Based on my extensive experience both training educators and consulting in schools, I provide a template for improving school climate, staff development, and instructional options to complement all students.

Applying my Ecological Model system will produce long – term improvement in student achievement, particularly in urban communities.  Using this proactive approach empowers teachers’  instructional competence and behavior management ability,  Dozens of educators are implementing this model in a variety of schools with excellent results.

My new classroom management book for secondary educators is a valuable resource to promote school reform.
